Hyegold's Excalibur, aka Merlin, brings together a nice combination of good looks and obedience and agility talent. His proud owner Erin McGlynn handled him beautifully at the Potomac Valley Golden Retriever Club's 2002 Specialty and we were thrilled with placements in both the 6-9 Sweeps and Regular classes. Currently training in both obedience and agility Merlin has yet to compete but we expect great things from him in the coming years.

Pinky left Hyegold to live with her co-owners Myra and Warren Judd at the age of 18 months. It had become apparent that this little girl had tons of potential and we didn't have the time to develop it. They needed a Golden, even though they didn't know it at the time and Pinky needed a home where she could sleep on the bed and reign supreme. She did have to share with her two Standard Schnauzer boys, but that was okay.
She began her performance career with Myra, getting her Novice Agility title in 1999 in 3 straight trials. In 2000 she really took off. In March she earned her Tracking Dog title, handled by her co-owner Barb Martin. In June beginning her obedience career, she earned her first CD leg at the Greater Pittsburgh Golden Club's specialty. In August she finished her CD at the big Canfield cluster, again in 3 straight tries. Showing in Open at Golden Triangle in October she qualified her first two times out (and in Open B to boot). At her winter home in Phoenix, AZ showing a total of 8 more times she took 1st place in 7 of them! She also finished her NAJ at the Cactus State Miniature Schnauzer Club trial and earned her first Open Standard leg in 2000.
Currently training in Utility and continuing to compete in agility are keeping Pinky a busy girl.

Liza is a dynamite little gal who loves to work. She tracks, does agility and is starting obedience, following in her mom Pinky's pawprints. Liza seems to pick things up very quickly according to her human mom who is absolutely smitten with her. And of course, her dad just can't stand to snuggle in bed with her. Yeah, right. I think we'll see great things from this little one.

Tory has enthusiasm for everything, she gets her nose to the ground and starts tracking. She flushes out birds that we don't
even know are there. She is very fast at catching onto anything, she mastered the leash without any problems. Retrieving is
natural to her, she loves to play retrieve. Tory is very active and energetic. She loves cats, sitting on laps or snuggled up to you
on the couch just before bed.
