Ty's pretty much had to take a back seat to the girls when it came to getting out to show. Though his obedience training started almost the day he was born, his showing days kept getting pushed back and pushed back. But finally Mom decided he'd soon be too old to show if she didn't get their act in gear.

So in 2000 (the year of new beginnings) we set out on the obedience circuit. In early April CD legs came 1, 2, 3 with placements on all legs and for good measure a 4th leg and placement. Then in July 2000 we headed out for an Open title. Showing in Open B was challenging but he got a leg and 4th place the first time out. By mid-August he finished his CDX and a 4th leg with a 3rd place despite hot weather and stay problems. Utility will come much slower as once again Mom's working on the girls.

But Ty won't care what happens as long as he gets his daily walk on the farm and can hang out with all those “good looking“ show girls. But in true Golden boy fashion he loves his Mom best of all.

Franco is the absolutely sweetest boy we've ever met. His big brown eyes make our hearts melt and his silly antics make us laugh. Seldom seen without something in his mouth, he's happiest curled up next to his mom or his best girl MeMe. Franco's growing up to be one nice looking dude with a beautiful soft expression, nice bone, correct coat, great topline and an insatiable desire to retrieve. We're always telling him "You're such a GOOD boy, Franco."
